There is no list to maintain.

A proxy pool is the opposite shape. It is a list of hundreds or thousands of separate ips, usually residential, and rotation is your job. Your code picks an ip, uses it, drops it, and grabs the next. You hold the whole bag, and managing the bag, pruning dead entries, tracking which ones are burned, is on you.

Trust is what decides whether you get blocked, and this is where the two split hardest.
