You run several TikTok accounts for clients or for your own brands, and they keep dying in batches. The content is fine. The accounts are clean. They still get linked and banned together within days of each other. If that’s you, the problem is almost never the content. It’s that TikTok has already worked out the accounts are the same person, and one ban cascades to all of them.
This is the stack an operator or an agency actually uses to keep accounts separate. It isn’t a trick. It’s a few boring things done consistently.
How TikTok links accounts
TikTok ties accounts together on three signals, and you have to beat all three. The first is the IP. If two accounts log in from the same address, that’s a strong link. The second is the device fingerprint: your browser, screen size, fonts, canvas, the whole machine signature. The second is behaviour: when you post, how you scroll, the times you’re active, the way you tap.
Most people fix one signal and assume they’re safe. They buy a proxy, change the IP, and leave the same browser and the same routine across ten accounts. TikTok still links them on the other two. The IP is necessary, but it’s only a third of the picture.
Why your home IP links everything
Here’s the mistake that quietly ruins batches: logging into one account from your own home IP, just once. Maybe to fix a password. Maybe because the proxy dropped and the session fell back to your real line. The moment two accounts touch the same home IP, they’re connected in TikTok’s graph, and that link doesn’t expire because you switched back the next day.
Your home IP is the single thread that ties every account you’ve ever touched to one person. Treat it as radioactive for account work. If an account has ever been near it, assume the link exists.
Why a datacenter IP is an instant tell
The other end of the mistake is reaching for a cheap datacenter proxy. It’s tempting because it’s cheap and fast, but TikTok reads the network type. A datacenter IP has the wrong ASN, no carrier behind it, and it usually sits in a range that’s already flagged from everyone else using it for the same thing.
A real person in Singapore is on SingTel, M1, or StarHub, on a 4G or 5G line. That’s what the platform expects to see. The core rule: one clean line per account
This is the whole foundation. One mobile line, one account. Not one line for three accounts. Not a rotating pool shared across a batch. One identity sits on one clean line, and that line is its address.
The moment you share a line across accounts, you’ve recreated the home-IP problem with extra steps. Two accounts on one IP are linked, whether that IP is your house or a proxy. The separation only works if it’s actually separate.
Sticky sessions, not mid-session jumps
For account work you want sticky sessions, not aggressive rotation. A real phone keeps roughly the same address through a browsing session. If your IP changes halfway through, the account looks like it teleported across the city mid-scroll, and that’s a flag, not a feature.
Set the sticky duration to cover a whole session, so the account logs in, browses, posts, and logs out on one stable address. You can let the carrier rotate between sessions, the way a real phone does. You just don’t want it rotating in the middle of a login or an upload.
Separate fingerprints, not just IPs
The IP is half. The device is the other half. If you run ten accounts through ten clean lines but from one browser on one machine, the fingerprint links them straight back together.
So each account gets its own environment. That’s either a separate antidetect browser profile, with its own fingerprint, or a real, separate device. The principle is simple: a different person uses a different phone, so each identity needs to look like it lives on its own. One clean line plus one separate profile is the real unit, not the line alone.
Match timezone and locale
Small detail, big tell. If your IP says Singapore but your browser says New York time and US English, that mismatch is exactly the kind of thing platforms check. Line up the obvious things: timezone set to Singapore, language and locale consistent with the IP. You want the whole identity to agree with itself.
Warm accounts slowly
A brand new account that immediately posts five videos and follows two hundred people looks like what it is. Warm it instead. For the first while, the account watches, scrolls, likes a few things, behaves like a person who just downloaded the app. Then it starts posting, gradually.
This is the part people skip because it’s slow, and it’s the part that decides whether an account survives its first week. Patience here is cheaper than rebuilding a batch.
Keep each routine consistent
Once an account is set up, keep it on the same line and the same profile every single time. Don’t move it between devices. Don’t log in from a different IP because it was convenient that day. Consistency is what makes an account look like one real person with one phone.

The mistakes that kill a whole batch
Three things take out batches at once. Reusing one IP across several accounts, which links them directly. One slip from your real home IP, which threads them to you. And rotating the IP mid-session, which makes a single account look broken. Any one of these can sink a whole set of accounts in a day, so they’re worth being paranoid about.
How many accounts per line
One. One identity per line. If you need to run twenty accounts, you need twenty lines, not one line working overtime. The economics only make sense if you treat each account as a real person, and a real person doesn’t share their phone with nineteen strangers.
What a proxy can and can’t do
I’ll be honest about the limit, because plenty of people buy a proxy expecting it to do the whole job. A mobile proxy fixes the network signal. It gives each account a believable, separate, local IP, which is genuinely necessary. It is not, on its own, sufficient.
If your content is junk, or you post like a bot, or you ignore warming and run identical routines, you’ll still get banned on perfect IPs. The proxy buys you a clean foundation.
